Our Itinery

On the 27th May 2019 we set sail from Southampton with our friends Marion and Ed, Nick and Olwen and Gaynor and Evalyn for a Meditteranean cruise with P & O on our favourite ship the Aurora.  Our intinery included stops at El Ferol, Cadiz, Barcelona, Genoa, Rome, Sorrento, Palma, Gibralter and Lisbon.  Unfortunately we were not able to enter the port of Cadiz as the seas were too rough but otherwise all the other planned stops took place.

Each stop has been covered in depth in the following pages but suffice to say that we enjoyed every one as well as some great days at sea where we had some great formal evenings (my favourite) and were served by fantastic staff (as always with P & O) and is the main reason that we prefer the set dining times as you get the same staff every day.

The entertainment was superb as usual with many varied acts.  I especially liked the all girl classical singers (IDA) who could not only sing but looked fantastic.
